We are in our New Home, yea!!!

We are in the process of making our New house a home. I took some Photos and posted them on the web site along with a couple of Maps of the area and some area links to help everyone get familiar with the Enhanced State of New Mexico.

The Balloon Festival is in full swing. As I'm updating this log, I'm watching Balloons float by my study window (FYI...we are renting a home on the west side of Albuquerque and it overlooks the Rio Grande valley, just south of Balloon Park).

We plan to move into our new home at the end of the! It's been a long journey, but we are very excited with the results.

We are also looking forward to our January trip to Germany for Kevin & Karina's wedding. I've attempted to keep their wedding page up to date as they firm up their wedding plans.

Our new home construction has been keeping us very busy this summer. I took on the Home Automation and Audio Video installations myself. That and my consulting work for Target keeps me very busy. Once the new home is complete, things should settle down, which will allow us to start exploring the land of enchantment (New Mexico).

June 2007

Kevin and Karina have set the date for their wedding, which will be on 19th of January 2008 in Inzell Germany.

As for our new home things are progressing along nicely. Everything is ready for Drywall in early July. I'm doing the Home Automation, Audio/Video system myself and with Dorothy as my loving assistant we have pull miles and miles of wire!

May 2007

More Wedding news, Matt asked Kristi to be his bride on her birthday. She of course said "YES". No firm dates have been announced for the wedding.

For Mother's Day, I took Dorothy to Taos for the weekend.

Mar 2007

The big news is Kevin and Karina are getting married. The wedding is being planned for some time in Nov 2007 or Jan 2008.

Feb 2007

Our new home is finally coming out of the ground. Our Builder hopes to have the slab finished the last week of Feb.

We continue to spend our weekends exploring the Enchanted State of New Mexico, discovering wonderful new places every week.
