December 2003

Happy Holidays, make sure and check
out our
2003 Holiday Newsletter, for a recap of 2003 happenings with the
Lundy's.
Our downsizing adventure continues...we moved
into our new place place on the lake December 5th, yea! We
now call Greenwood, MN home. Our new condo is on St. Albans
Bay, which is one of the many bays of Lake Minnetonka a lake 30
minutes west of the Twins Cities.
The builder
is still finishing a few details (like a tub, counters and such) but
Dorothy, the 3 cats and myself wanted to get out of the one bedroom
apartment and unpack a few boxes. We hope to be settled soon
so we can host Christmas
Dinner. If you need our new address, drop
Dorothy or
Myself a Email. Dorothy
is working on getting some Christmas decorations displayed, which is
a good thing!
November 2003

The adventure continues...we have
left our wonderful home in Eagan behind, we turned the keys over to
the new home owners on November 15th, a Bitter-Sweet day.
Bitter, because we left great friends and great memories behind.
Sweet, because we start our a new chapter in our lives in our new
place. Unfortunately, our new place wasn't quite ready so
Dorothy and I have moved into a one bedroom apartment with the 3
cats for a month until our new place is complete. We held an
estate sale (an adventure in itself), which allowed us downsize our
belonging to match our new smaller space at our new condo.
The grandkids (Sara and Ethan) continue to grow!!!
October 2003

Kristi's back at school (UMD in
Duluth), Ken Jr & Rachel have moved into their first home in
Farmington, MN. We are working on getting ready to move (both
planning for the new home and getting our existing one ready)!
Kevin has gone over to Germany to visit his significant other's home
land.
September 2003

We SOLD our existing the last
weekend of August, it officially went off the market on Sept 5th.
It's Bitter-Sweet news, we are glad we found a great family to take
over our wonderful home, but we are sad to be that much closer to
having to leave our friends behind in Eagan.
August 2003

The big news is we are moving!
Yes we are selling our wonderful
Home in Eagan and moving
to a new condominium complex on St. Albans Bay (Lake Minnetonka).
Dorothy and I decided it was time to down size and simplify our
lives. The hard part is leaving all our friends behind in
Eagan and of course parting with much of our material things...not
the least of which is the Aspen Valley (my Model Layout).
So, if you know of any one who is interested in
Our Home in Eagan,
send them our way.
See Home For-Sale section
of the web site for more details.
On a less eventful note, Kristi is heading back to school in Duluth
the first week in September.
June-July 2003

Long Hot Summer, but it's great
having Kristi home for the summer.
Nothing to exciting happening, work is keeping both Dorothy and I
very busy?
Dorothy and I have been out exploring some new areas of the
twin-cities, we are considering moving?
May 2003

Go
Wild!!!
Dorothy and I stopped up to see Kristi in Duluth mid month to
celebrate her birthday and to pack her prized possessions in
preparation for her relocation from UMD back to Eagan for the
summer. We stayed at a new Hotel in the Canal Park area (South
Pier Inn) which is a great place right next door to the High
Bridge, you can watch the ships pass by right from your room.
XM Radio Rocks
Sara and Ethan continue to Grow!
April 2003

Dorothy and I took the new Escalade
on a trip to Colorado to visit Kevin and the
Pikes Peak
area. It was a great trip (unfortunately we didn't find our
warm weather, even had snow a couple days), but it was great to
spend some time with Kevin and the sun was out most days!
We
found a wonderful Inn (Eagle
Fire Lodge) in Woodland Park (just up the mountain from Colorado
Springs), a wonderful little community. We rode the
Royal Gorge Route Railroad from Canon City through the
Royal Gorge. We explored Cripple Creek, the Sand Dunes and
Golden.
Kristi is look forward to the end of the school year
at UMD and coming home!
Sara and Ethan continue to Grow!
March 2003

Ethan and Sara continue to get
bigger every day, Ken Jr. has promised to get some new photos posted
some time before the end of the month.
It's been a long cold winter so we are exploring our options for a Spring Vacation,
we are planning on going to Colorado to visit Kevin and relax in the mountains. We are getting the winter we missed in
January and February, it's been fairly cold and snowy, but "Life is
Good"!
I'm adding new features to the Home Automation System every weekend, pretty
soon it will cook the meals and do the dishes (Dorothy, just kidding).
Once I get it fully operational, I'll post some "What does it do?" information.
Dorothy and I spent a fun weekend in
Red Wing at
the St.
James Hotel.
February 2003

Not a lot new happening at the
Lundy's, Kristi was back a couple times from Duluth. Winter
has not been bad at all this year! I'm installing a new Home
Automation System (A
HAI System), Dorothy has been very tolerant of the mess I'm
making.

January 2003

Had a wonderful Christmas and we
even extended the Holiday season this year until the end of January
so our middle son and daughter could enjoy the holiday decorations
while they were home.
Kristi was home most of the month and Kevin took a vacation and
spent it with us, it was wonderful having all the kids back at the
same time. Kathy and Dennis (my sister and her husband) made
it up also. Kristi left for Duluth on the 19th and Kevin went
back to Breckenridge on the 24th. So it's just us two again!
Rachel, Sara and Ethan went back to California to celebrate her
birthday with her family, Ken Jr. is batch'ing it.
