Kristi came down for a weekend
visit (1st Weekend of Nov),
was great to see her!
She is also
coming home for Thanksgiving.

Added a Christmas Countdown on the
Home Page and started a new The
Holidays Page. This new area is still very much a "work in
progress". Hope to have our 2002 Holiday Newsletter posted

All is well in our corner of the
world, Kristi is getting excited about her move to Duluth to start
school at
UMD (University of
Minnesota) later this month.
I've posted several updates to the web site and
Ken Jr. has also
started to update his pages to the new look and feel. We now

As you can tell I launched a new
web site on the 28th, let me know what you think? In addition
to changing the look and feel, I added a lot of new content.
Here is just a few examples...
A new Genealogy Section with
an Interactive
On-Line
Family Tree and some
Family History.
A new Family Section and a
updated Ken Sr. Section
with new photos of the
Aspen
Valley.
The beginnings of a totally new
Photo Gallery,
unfortunately the only photos on-line are the Aspen Valley. Check
back as I will be adding Family and Vacation Photos as time permits.
A New Travel and Vacation Section
which includes a diary of our vacations over the years.
The beginnings of a new Hobbies Section,
so you can get an idea of what our interests are?
A new and improved Guest Book,
which allows users to Categorize their entries.
A new Help & FAQ Section
Dorothy and I just returned from our vacation out west. For
the first week, we stayed and visited with family in
Seattle and
several relatives who came over from Norway. We are took a
wonderful Alaska cruise on
the
msAmsterdam from Seattle
via the
inland passage.

On the home front, Kristi (our youngest Daughter) graduated from
Eagan High School on June 7th. Kevin made it back for Kristi's
big day. She is planning on attending
UMD (University of
Minnesota) this fall, majoring in Criminology with a minor in
Psychology. Her open house will be Saturday June 15th.
Dorothy and I are going on vacation in July to visit family in
Seattle and visit with relatives both from the Seattle area and
several from Norway. We are also taking an Alaska cruise on

Kristi will be
graduating from High School next month. Her open house is
planned for Saturday June 15th. Work continues to keep me very
busy.

Dorothy and I are planning a trip to Seattle in July to visit the
relatives on the Lunde side, we hope to take a cruise to Alaska if
everything works out.

We have a new Grandson!
Ethan Nathaniel (Ken Jr. and Rachel's Son) was
born on the 17th at 1:52pm. Hew was 8lbs and 12oz (a big boy).
Everyone is doing fine. Rachel's folks were back for the
blessed event and Rachel's mom stayed on for a few days after the
birth.
January 2002
We made it back to Ohio for Christmas to be with Dorothy's family.
Ken Jr. Rachel and Sara went to California to be with Rachel's family
for the Holidays, she is due in February. We
have had a remarkable winter, it's had to believe our good fortune
(very little snow and temps way above zero).
