December 2001
We are planning on going to Ohio for
Christmas to be with Dorothy's family and Ken Jr, Rachel and Sara are
going to California to be with Rachel's family for the Holidays.

November 2001
Kevin is coming home for Thanksgiving, Kathy and Denny are also coming
up for Thanksgiving weekend. It will be great to have the family
together again for the holidays. For the 1st couple weeks of
November it's been in the 50's and 60's can you believe it?
On a sad note, my great aunt "Libby Krieger" passed away
earlier this month. She was 1 week away from celebrating her
91th birthday. Just think of the things she seen and experienced
during her life? It was great seeing all the relatives from the
Krieger side, but I wish it was under better circumstances.
The big project for Late October and November was that we replaced the
hardwood floor on the main level. Let's just say I'm getting too
old for these kind of projects. It was definitely a family
project and special thanks go to Ken Jr. for his help!
October 2001
Kristi got a new car! She had a minor accident on a rainy
Saturday with her old car, fortunately she escaped with no injuries
but her "baby" the car didn't fare so well. So she
driving a Sunbird know and is in seventh heaven.

On a lighter note, Kristi once again talked me into taking her and her friends to the
State Fair, which by the why is a great happening. Got to love those
hot dogs on a stick and cheese curds!
Dorothy and I are planning a short trip up north to the North Shore to
check out the fall colors.
August 2001
Kristi talked me into taking her and two of her friends to Wisconsin
Dells for a couple of days, what was I thinking. We stayed at
the Chula Vista Resort
(Nice Place). Girls had a great time Dorothy & I just
chilled. Dorothy's "repaired" foot is doing
better. Rachel's parents are coming out for a visit during the
State Fair.
July 2001
The weather has been remarkable for the first few day of July. Highs
in the 70's and 80's with low humidity, life is great! Dorothy's
look forward to getting out of your "Boot". 7/20-Well
all good things come to a end, it turned hot and sticky! Dorothy
is back on both feet again! Been working on photos and video I
took in Norway. Hope to have some of the photos posted in August.
June 2001
Not much happening, still recovering from our vacation. Kristi's
enjoying her time off from school. The big news is Rachel is expecting
again! We are looking forward to grand child #2. Dorothy had
some bad luck late in the month, she feel down and broke your angle,
ouch! Of course it's her right foot so she can't drive, she's
relying on Kristi and myself to get around.
May 2001
First off, sorry for not keeping up with News Updates, I attempted to
backtrack and fill in a few blanks for everyone. Unfortunately I
was pre occupied with my sister's passing, vacation planning and my
new job.
The big news for May was that my Sister, her Husband, Dorothy and
myself just retuned from a two week vacation to
Norway!
We meet easily a 100 relatives most of them I had never meet, all from
the Lunde side. What great people and a beautiful country! I
hope to post some photos and many changes to our family tree in the
next few weeks. I've update our
Trip
Itinerary, check it out if you want a quick overview of our
trip.
Kevin came home for a couple of weeks, predominantly to stay with
Kristi while we were in Norway, it was great to have him back for a
visit.
April 2001
I (Ken Sr.) stated a new job, still working for Target. I'm just
starting a new department and heading up a new Technology Team for the
Property Development group within Target (the PD group Designs, Builds
and Maintains the 1500+ building for the Corp). Needless to say it's
keeping me busy! Still burning the midnight oil when not focused
on work, finalizing last minute vacation details. Can't wait to
we go on our Norwegian Adventure, I've been working on learning a
little Norwegian, it's tough for an old dog to learn a new trick. I
have trouble with English some times!
March 2001
Same old, same old not a lot new happening! Spent a lot of time
working on finalizing plans and reservations for our trip to Norway in
May. It's been a very interesting experience making plans in a
foreign country. Good example is the Holiday home we are
renting, rented it from a Danish Company with a German web site and
had to wire funds to a Swiss Bank.
February 2001
Same old, same old not a lot new happening! Attempting to stay
warm, but it's hard. If you get a chance say a prayer for Karen!
January 2001
It was a sad month for the Lundy's, Karen my sister passed away on the
25th. If you were not aware she had been ill for several years
and she had been a rough time over the last few months. It was
so great that we all got together one last time for the
holidays! Please say a prayer for her and her family.
