Main Controls (Overall View I)

This is a overall view of the electronics and wiring behind the Aspen Valley Operations. All wiring is home run to this area and the space is accessible via a duckunder.

Main Controls (Overall View II)

This is a 2nd view of the electronics and wiring. The controls are mounted on the backside of the backdrop structure of the layout and over the hidden loops.

Block Controls & Wiring

This is a close-up of the block wiring and block interface boards. The interface boards are controlled by visual basic software (That I created) running on a laptop/PC.

Switch Machine Controls & Wiring I

This is a close-up of the Switch Machine wiring and Switch Machine control PCB boards. These SM boards are connected to interface cards (see below).

Switch Machine Controls & Wiring II

This is a close-up of the Switch Machine interface boards (between the PC and the SM controls). The interface cards both control and monitor.

Switch Machine Controls & Wiring III

This is a view of some of the Switch Machines mounted under the roadbed. Switch Machines also provide turnout point power routing via a relay interface.
