Help & FAQs
Welcome to our corner of the world.

The big news in my life is that Karina and I got married in January 2008.

Karina and I currently live in Frankfort Germany.

Check out our Wedding Page for more details, Dad recently included a link to our Wedding Video.

Now some background about me.  My life has spanned three decades, the turn of a century, and I have lived in six states and two counties and I can truthfully say that I have learned absolutely nothing and can share even less that you would find interesting or intelligent. But, because I’m a bit egotistic, I thought I would share anyways, so here are a few things I like in the world and you should, too.

A few years back I packed up my bags and followed my heart, or to be more specific a girl, and ended up in the land of beer, the other white meat.

Germany has grown on me over the years, but if you ever move to a foreign land, you have to take the following things to heart or you’ll go completely coo-coo/crazy.
  1. Nothing is better or worse, it’s just simply different.
  2. You always favor what you’re used to.
  3. They’re like your parents, you’ll never change them,
you just have to accept them.
Outside spending time with the people that are closest to me and doing the hobbies that I love, there is not much, that gives me greater joy then sitting here (In Germany) at an ungodly hour watching the Cardinals win, OK maybe one thing, watching the Yankees loose.

Comedy Central is a must because everybody needs learn to laugh, especially at themselves.

Because of history and a bit of dumb luck, English has ended up as one of the international languages of the world. And so I spend my days teaching the German Population, young and old, English at Berlitz.

Actors as host, over exaggerated stories, taking utter nonsense about a topic for a lengthy amount of time, putting a spin on stories, and in general finding a scapegoat for everything; Oh Sorry! I got off track I was talking about CNN and FOX and NOT The Daily Show and The Colbert Report. At least they realize that news on TV should be a joke.

In my early twenties, I decided to move to Summit County, CO and try to pursue a career in snowboarding, but then I realized one thing, I wasn’t that good! So I hung out, delivered food and had a second childhood, which I can say rivaled my first.

Like many other men around the world, I love sitting in front of the TV and geeking out with my PlayStation, which I have heard from more than a few people is a waste of time. But doesn’t that describe everything you do in your free time: movies, surfing the net, a walk along a river, weeding the garden, cooking when there’s a phone right next to you, etc. With that said, I like wasting my time playing the Final Fantasy and grand theft auto series.

Similar to many Americans, I am quite fond of talking about politics and I go to the polls every other year and ask the ooh important question of, which candidate is the lesser of two evils?

Democrats: Any party that claims to have the majority and has two more than the other party, is like a baseball team having a record of 82-80 and saying they won a majority of their games.

Republican: George Bush – enough said!
