Aspen Valley is a freelance railroad based heavily on the "Denver & Rio Grande Western"
Railroad and its operations in the late 60's thru the mid 70s.

 | It generates very little revenue on it's on rails
which the except of some Coal. It basically serves as a "Land
Bridge" between the Western Pacific on its western terminus and
several Railroads in Denver to the East.
|
 | It is struggling financially and
has been forced to retained many of its 1st and 2nd generation

|
 | It still operates daily Passenger
service between its two terminuses, resisting absorption by the sleeping
governments giant "Amtrak".
|
