The Lundy's wish you and your family a Merry Christmas or as they would say in New Mexico Feliz Navidad!

Dorothy and I have much to be thankful for in 2008!

As of late, many of our fellow citizens are suffering due to economic hard times and factors outside their control, please remember them in your prayers.

If your capable, please help those who's Christmas may not be as blessed as yours.  If your looking for a good charity, we would recommend St. Vincent de Paul.

Dorothy & I were able to take a few trips this year.  In January we went to Europe for Kevin & Karina's wedding (Karina's family made us feel very welcome).  In addition to spending time in Germany, we squeezed in side trips to Paris and Salzburg.  During May we went on a road trip to Ohio to visit Dorothy's family and returned home following Historic Route 66.  In late summer we embarked on a 2nd road trip, this time to Minnesota to visit the kids and take in the Minnesota State Fair, we returned via the Black Hills, Wyoming and Colorado.  We have become real Two-Lanners (keeping to two-lane highways and going through small towns when ever possible).

New Mexico is so rich in history and traditions and we would love to share our wonderful state with you, so make plans to visit us in 2009.  The spare bedroom is available to all that want to stop by (just give us a heads up so we can reserve your dates).  We had many visitors this year, most recently Ken Jr. and his family joined us for Thanksgiving and my sister and her husband came down during the Balloon Fiesta.

Kristi and Matt have set the date for their wedding, which is scheduled to take place during September in the Twin Cities.  Given the phone traffic between Kristi and Dorothy, the wedding planning appears to be in full swing.  I've started a web page for them on the family web site, they plan to update it as plans firm up.  They both were able to make it over to Europe for Kevin & Karina's wedding and we met up with them in Paris before moving on to Germany.  It sounds like they may be down for a visit this spring?

Kevin & Karina most certainly have had the most exciting year.  As you've read, they were married in January, it was a lovely ceremony and they had a wonderful reception (German's do like to party!). Check out their wedding photos on our web site. They are both teaching now, Karina in a school close to were she grew up (North of Frankfurt) and Kevin is providing English instruction for Germans (in Frankfurt).  Late Breaking News! Their son (Elijah Tate Lundy) arrived on December 6th.  I've posted a few photos on the web site.

Ken, Rachel, Sara and Ethan stopped by to see us over Thanksgiving on their way back from visiting Rachel's parents in the Phoenix Area.  Sara and Ethan are growing up much too fast (Sara turned 11 in Sept and Ethan will be 7 in Feb).  We also had the opportunity to spend time with them when we were back in Minnesota in August.  While they were here, the grandkids collected arrow heads and picked up some fun New Mexican souvenirs.  Sara even found a furry jack-a-lope to take back with her.  Ken was also able to join us in Germany for the wedding.
