from Minnesota

Seasons Greetings from the Lundys!  2004 turned out to be a wonderful year for all of us, hopefully it was a fantastic year for you and your family also.  Dorothy and I are enjoying lake life, when not at work.  Kristi is still pursuing her educational goals at UMD in Duluth; Kevin is pursuing his dreams in Germany and Ken Jr, Rachel, Sara and Ethan are still in Minnesota and doing great.

Fall on Lake Minnetonka
Dorothy and I continue to adjust to our new environment.  If you missed the news last year, we downsized from our home in Eagan and moved to a condominium on Lake Minnetonka.

We spent the summer exploring the 14,500 acres of the Lake along with sharpening our boating and navigational skills.  In addition to enjoying the lake's countless bays and channels I've enjoyed researching the history of the lake which dates back to the mid 1800's.

Please join us at the lake next summer, so we can share the beautiful lake and it's history with you.

We were also blessed with the opportunity to visit Europe once again.  Our cruise started in Venice Italy and we spend many wonderful spring days cruising the Mediterranean (stopping in Croatia, several Greek Islands, Turkey, Athens, Olympia and Malta) before we returned to Venice.

We then took the opportunity to visit Kevin and Karina in Frankfurt and spent a day in Cologne (Koln) with Kevin (you know me, I couldn't pass up the opportunity to take a train trip along the Rhine).

Kristi & Matt

Kristi is now a junior at UMD (University of Minnesota Duluth) where she is still pursuing her major in psychology. She splits her time between school and Matt (her boyfriend since starting college).  Matt is quickly becoming an extended member of the family.  It was great to have them both down for Thanksgiving and hopefully they will get to spend some time with us over the holidays.

Kevin moved to Frankfurt Germany in January to join his friend Karina.  They met in Breckenridge a couple years ago when she was in the states.  He is working as an English instructor for German students and is going to school (his current goal is to get a teaching degree).  We had the opportunity to meet up with Karina and Kevin during our trip to Europe this summer, it was great to see both of them.  Sara & Ethan

Ken, Rachel, Sara and Ethan are doing great. Sara and Ethan continue to grow; getting bigger and wiser every day.  Sara is is first grade and Ethan will be 3 in February.  The four of them are going to California in mid December to spend the holidays with Rachel's family, soaking up some southern California sun and taking in the sights at Disneyland.  I'm trying to talk Ken into taking Ethan on a train trip to San Diego (He loves trains...must be that great DNA his grandfather passed on to him).
