Edvard Rasmussen Lunde
Notes and Background Information

Notes:
The 1900 Census "1900-telling for 1262 Mangers" showed Edvard living with
his parents Rasmus & Anna on the Lunde Farm in the Parish of Manger
(Radøy Island). The Census showed his father living in Bergen in 1900
and that his mother Anna and three brothers (Olav(f), Anton, Magnus) and
one sister (Ragna) were still living at home. Peder his oldest brother
was living on the Kobbeltveit Farm in the Parish of Aarstad working on
the farm at the age of six for Knut Knutsen and Martha Larsen. Maria was
not shown on the census as she had already passed away in apx. 1897.
Based on information from Anna (In Seattle) by way of Kathy Myrass,
Edvard went to sea with Peder and "jumped" ship in the United States.
